Phonograph Music Player is a media package that is an alternative to more complicated systems such as QuickTime or RealPlayer. Not only is this design very easy to work with, but its intuitive layout is perfect for those who are not looking for extraneous 'bells and whistles'. Themes and styles can likewise be adjusted to suit the settings of the user.
Main Functions and Usability
Phonograph Music Player provides many integrated options such as the ability to create playlists and folders based off of genre, artist or song title. There are no complicated or lengthy menus, so much of the guesswork is taken out of the navigation process. Some other standard features include a dedicated widget, the ability to lock the playback screen and the possibility to edit tags; helping to streamline search functions. As this package is still in beta testing, it is likely that other features will soon be added.
Additional Options
Phonograph Music Player can be integrated with the third-party Last.fm service. This enables the user to access additional information such as images and artist biographies. Not much smartphone memory will be required, so it is useful for those who might be concerned about performance issues. Downloads normally take only a matter of seconds.
